To be a great news reporter, you need sources. But you need to have credible sources as well. Apparently, according to Deron Williams, Yahoo doesn’t have that.
Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski claims that if the Brooklyn Nets don’t acquire Dwight Howard, Deron Williams will be on his way out of town via free agency. When Williams heard about this, his first response was to call out the Yahoo writer.
Williams, from the beginning on, has claimed to weigh his options. But we all know that Deron Williams is a true competitor and will do whatever it takes to win. Which means if the Nets are bringing in pieces, Williams is gone.
But it seems that Yahoo, once again, gave us a headline rather than a story.

DeShawn Stevenson talked about the ATM in his house, including why he got it, and how much it costs to use it and restock it.
DeShawn Stevenson shared a picture from what looked like his kitchen, and he shockingly seems to have an ATM in it.
The New Jersey Nets sit near the bottom of the NBA’s Eastern Conference with a record of 16-35 and only winning a pathetic six games at home. The future Brooklyn Nets are moving into the Barclays Center this fall and chances are Avery Johnson won’t be coming with him. Not only did the Nets fail
DeShawn Stevenson, who was already known for having an Abraham Lincoln neck tattoo, became an even bigger urban legend when he shared a picture on Instagram that revealed he has an ATM in his kitchen. The Nets guard confirmed to TMZ that he does in fact have an ATM in his home, and he explained all the fees and charges associated with it.
TMZ says Stevenson paid $3,500 for the ATM...
Yes, that is DeShawn Stevenson posting for a picture from what appears to be the kitchen inside his home. While he is impressed with his “swag out” style, what captured nearly everyone’s attention was what appeared to be an ATM off to the side. If that really is an ATM in Stevenson’s kitchen, then Floyd Mayweather is jealous he didn’t think of it first.
Deron Williams denied a report from Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski that had sources claiming he would leave the Nets if they were unable to acquire Dwight Howard.
My first thought upon seeing this photo of an oddly-dressed DeShawn Stevenson posing next to his personal ATM machine was that nothing pictured in it really surprised me. Then I simply wondered, why? While it may seem like a stupid question—to draw money, duh!—most people just go to the bank to do that. Who even thinks to actually put a money machine inside of their kitchen...
You may remember when New Jersey Nets DeShawn Stevenson sent the picture of him with his ATM in the background. It seems he was inspired of an episode of Rob and Big on MTV, in which Rob Dyrdek had an ATM installed in his house. DeShawn, apparently, paid $3,500 for the ATM and lets his friends [...]
DeShawn Stevenson always has some interesting stuff going on. Next on his list, an ATM in his kitchen. I wonder what type of fees he’s charged when he takes his money out. How much of that is profit he keeps? Earning interest of what he spends? Even DeShawn is rocking bright skinny jeans and personality [...]
In case you missed it, the Golden State Warriors made a questionable trade not too long ago.
In 2008, they traded for then New Jersey Nets point guard Marcus Williams. In that trade they gave up a conditional 2012 first round pick. That pick was then shipped to Utah in the Deron Williams trade.
Clearly when the Warriors made that trade they planned on being a playoff team or...
I’m confused as to why so many people are making a big deal of this today. If I was DeShawn Stevenson I would have at least two ATM’s in my house and charge at least $3.50 per transaction. Get that money.

Last night, my buddy Andy Vasquez, New Jersey Brooklyn Nets beat writer for The Record, Tweeted the above picture from DeShawn Stevenson’s Instrgram account and yep, he has an ATM in his freaking kitchen. Once Darren Rovell eventually confirmed it, the Interwebs and Twitter had its fun with Stevenson’s accessory, and the Nets guard responded to the strange claims that he might...
Noted crazy person DeShawn Stevenson sent the internet into a tizzy when he Instagram’d a picture of himself dressed like the kind of stupid asshole who uses Instagram way too much. The image went viral not because of his jaunty hat and bowtie, but because of the ATM installed in his kitchen.
DeShawn lifted the idea from reality television, and goes so far as to charge his friends...
There is plenty of talent to be had if the Nets can sneak into the top three during tonight's lottery selection process.
The Brooklyn Nets will attempt to improve their current roster through the 2012 NBA Draft which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 28, at the Prudential Center in Newark. Selection of NBA team draft order for lottery teams will be held today (May...
