The New Jersey Nets are 7-15 and really struggling. However Nets star point guard Deron Williams is still giving his best . Last night in a loss to the Indiana Pacers Williams dunked over a player that is much taller than him. The 6’3” Williams drives through a wide open lane to the basket until Roy Hibbert comes over at the basket to try and block his shot. Hibbert fails in blocking the shot and the much smaller Williams dunks over Hibbert. Hibbert stands at 7’2”. Williams dunks the ball unlike Blake Griffin’s dunk where he throws the ball into the basket. To me Williams dunk was more impressive. For the season Williams is averaging 20.3 points per game and 8.4 assists per game. Check out Williams dunk below. Recently the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets but the play the ended the 3rd quarter is what I will remember from this game. Time was ticking down in the 3rd quarter when Corey Brewer of the Denver Nuggets threw up a wild shot from half court. The sho...

Video: Roy Hibbert gets dunked on by Deron Williams

The first full month of the NBA’s abbreviated season sure went out with a bang. Sunday LeBron James jumped OVER John Lucas for the alley oop. Monday, Blake Griffin made Kendrick Perkins famous with this unbelievable slam. Tuesday night, NJ Nets point guard Deron Williams was kind enough to include Roy Hibbert in this highlight [...]

Video: Deron Williams Dunks On Roy Hibbert

In the opening minutes of Tuesday night’s Nets-Pacers battle, Deron Williams found some open space at the top of the key, of which he took full advantage by driving forcefully into the lane and dunking the ball home with power. Roy Hibbert made a slight attempt to stop the inevitable, though his rotation was so late that DWill‘s momentum took him right to the rack before the...

POTD 1/31/12: Deron Williams On Roy Hibbert

Deron Williams is one of those guys who is more than capable of throwing down but just doesn’t do it on a regular basis.  Every year he seems to have a few awesome posters, though–it’s not like he’s Antawn Jamison or something–and for this reason I’ve dubbed him king of the sneaky dunk.  Watch him surprise 7’2 Roy Hibbert on a strong take to the rack… Sick dunk...

Video: Paul George With the Sick Reverse Dunk

In the first quarter of Tuesday night’s Nets-Pacers tilt, Deron Williams put Indy big man Roy Hibbert on a poster, and so Paul George might have felt the need to take some of the negative attention away from his teammate by putting on a bit of a show of his own. And when Lance Stephenson dished him the rock in the open court, he did just that. This looks more like something...
