Prior to Monday's practice at Southern Methodist University, New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams didn't seem likely to re-sign with his current team unless they somehow added Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard.
Judging by Williams' comments after practice, it's hard to believe anything has changed. If a player was committed to helping build a franchise that is preparing for a move to Brooklyn, they probably wouldn't talk about how much they enjoy playing in another building.
"I always like playing here," Williams told reporters when asked about his thoughts on playing at American Airlines Center in Dallas, according to The Star-Ledger. "It's probably my favorite arena to play in. I just enjoy playing here I enjoy playing in front of my friends, family. It's always good they get the chance to come and see me play."
