Brooklyn Nets star Deron Williams has narrowed his list of suitors down to just two teams: his hometown Dallas Mavericks or staying put with the Nets. Multiple outlets are reporting it, citing sources.
There are a ton of teams interested in Williams, who is arguably the greatest point guard in the league, but D Will had made it clear, or at least his agent has, that he wants to either relive his glory days in Texas with The Colony high school or remain with Jay-Z’s team.
Earlier it was rumored Jason Kidd, a player Williams was often compared to when he was drafted out of Illinois in 2005, wishes to to sign with the same team as the ex-Illini star and back him up. Next month we’ll know either way.

As NBA free agency approaches, the anticipation grows over whether Deron Williams will re-sign with the Brooklyn Nets for Russian big bucks or return to his native Texas to join the Dallas Mavericks. (Or, he could go somewhere else, but that would ruin the sterling track record of dozens of analysts and bloggers.) Many see Dallas as a great fit for Williams, not only because the...
The Brooklyn Nets have not had too much good news on the free agent front during the last few seasons. This latest report on All-Star point guard Deron Williams may serve as some. Maybe.

Free Agent treasure to be Deron Williams turned 28 on Tuesday, so the Brooklyn Nets decided to park a massive sign in front of his Manhattan house to wish him a happy birthday — This comes off as pretty desperate. We all know Dallas is where D-Will wants to be. -TO

I've little interest in the juvenile 'Mavs Suck!'-'No, The Nets Suck!' debate as it relates to Deron Williams' future. The truth is, there are two valid reasons for Williams to decide, once July 1 arrives, to remain with the Nets. And in Donuts, we detail the Top 10 Reasons Deron Should Come Home To Dallas:
The Nets have no interest in sending Deron Williams to the Lakers in exchange for a package headlined by Pau Gasol.

The NHL and MLB Draft are really different animals than the NBA and NFL. It’s much more difficult to determine who is going to be impact players. With that said, here’s a breakdown of the draft for you hockey fans. Enjoy.
