Former MVP Derrick Rose is back on the court playing for the Chicago Bulls and that is good to see. Rose missed all of last season due to a knee injury. Rose was cleared to play last season but he thought he wasn’t ready to go which brought him some doubters.
In his first game since the injury Rose scored 13 points in 20 minutes against the Pacers in a Pre-Season game. Rose looked fine and looked great on this breakaway dunk below.
“I felt great,” Rose said. “I felt normal, I felt the way I’ve been playing in practice. I’m just trying to get my timing back.”
“The speed at which he plays, you’ve got to get accustomed to,” Thibodeau said. “His teammates have to get used to it again, and he has to get used to it, but overall, I thought he played very, very well.”
