The surging Detroit Pistons look for their fifth consecutive win Sunday, as they welcome the Charlotte Bobcats to The Palace. Here’s what you need to know about the game … Who/Where/When: Detroit Pistons (13-22) vs. Charlotte Bobcats (8-24), The Palace of Auburn Hills, 7:30 p.m. ET Previous meeting: The two teams have not yet played this season. Piston to Watch: Austin Daye. Daye has worked his way back into the lineup — and done so aggressively enough that he’s moved from potential trade bait to a valuable member of the second unit. In the Pistons’ last outing, a Friday night win over Atlanta, Daye dropped 20 points in just 22 minutes on 9-of-11 shooting. Bobcat to Watch: Ben Gordon. You remember him, right? The Pistons dealt Gordon and his bulky contract to Charlotte this offseason for Corey Maggette (who has been relegated to the bench amid Daye’s resurgence). Ever the scorer, Gordon is pouring in 13.4 points per game and is coming off a 27-point outing against Cleveland. Detroit has had issues with hot-shooting guards this year, so Gordon could put up some big numbers Sunday night.

Pistons surrender lead but hold on to beat Hawks on Star Wars night

The Force has been strong with the Pistons lately and that continued Friday night as Detroit first blew a 19 point lead only to go on and beat the Atlanta Hawks 85-84 from the Palace.
