Found November 27, 2012 on Rumors and Rants:
If the internet had somehow failed us, it’s off the hook thanks to Old Spice and Dikembe Mutombo. In an advertising campaign so unspeakably awesome that it would make Don Draper crap his pants, the deodorant company has rolled out something that has nothing to do with deodorant whatsoever: a cheesily awesome video game starring the NBA’s No. 7 all-time shot blocker. The game is called “Dikembe Mutombo’s 4 1/2 Weeks To Save The World.” The premise? The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, and it is up to Mutombo to engage in a variety of 16-bit adventures to carve more days onto it. Play the game after the jump. The first level involves throwing ballots to American citizens “Paperboy”-style due to the risk of the Gangnam Style dance making them forget to vote on election day. The second level looks to be more of a Super Mario Bros. homage, as you have to jump on top of creatures described as Blurgies in order to save Thanksgiving. Both levels also feature bizarre interaction betwee...

I’m not which scoring-on-own-basket-trying-to-get-rebound hurts more to watch. Was it Rockets’ Omer Asik or Michigan’s Jordan Morgan? The best part is Morgan looking at his hand afterwards probably thinking “why did my hands deceive me?”Via Guyism

Seriously...
