— Eurohoops.net (@Eurohoopsnet) October 30, 2012
Dionte Christmas will continue his career with CSKA Moscow, according to Eurohoops on Twitter. Christmas will replace Drew Nicholas who did not play up to the expectations of the coaching staff in the first months of the season. Christmas averaged 18.6ppg, 4rpg and 3apg with AGOR last season. He had turned down offers from European teams before he accepted the partially guaranteed contract with the Celtics. His dream is still to make it in the NBA but that dream is once again on hold for a little longer.

Rondo poses with girl in anti-LeBron shirt
This may or may not be real, but it's funny regardless. From thebiglead.com who got it from lobshots.com. My money is on real. I've already seen Rajon autograph a baby this week, and I know you can buy that shirt outside the Garden after games. Follow Mark on twitter @LucidSportsFan

Kevin Garnett Fakes Throwing Elbow At Chalmers’ Head, Still Gets Called For Foul
The below is a pretty perfect example of KG being KG. I waver on the big fella from time to time in terms of love, like and hate. Following this move, I think I am even more confused as what to thing of the Celtic. Garnett was coming back up the court and decided to send a little message to Mario Chalmers by pretending to throw an elbow at his head. Chalmers flinched enough that...
Video: Doc Rivers discusses Heat ring ceremony
As Walsh mentioned earlier, the Celtics to Remain in Locker Room for Ring Ceremony. Doc breaks down how the ring ceremony won't really effect the Celtics pre-game routine.
Today's letter Celtics fan is 'P' as in pick-and-roll
Take a deep breathe Celtic fans, and repeat after me: "it is only 1 of 82" and you will be okay. Remember there would have been a mini-coup in South Beach if LeBron and his special edition golden Nikes had lost on His championship night.
That is good, but this is about the Celtics and how they fared. So lets begin.
Jeff Green, well it was his first NBA game in over...
Recap: Celtics leave defense in Boston for season opener
I know it’s October, but I expected so much more from the Celtics. After all the talk about the Heat and Ray Allen, I expected the defensive intensity to be there. It wasn’t. And the Heat rolled 120-107.
LeBron James had 26 points in 29 minutes. If he doesn’t sit out most of the 4th quarter with leg cramps, Miami wins this game by 25. Ray Allen played to his ceiling (19 points...
JbSmooth84.com Boston Celtics 2012-2013 Preview
Injuries contributed to the demise of the Boston Celtics last year, making it to the Eastern Conference Finals was quite the accomplishment for a team that was hobbled by injuries and aging. The Celtics have reloaded letting Ray Allen leave for Miami but getting Jason Terry to fill his place.
Along with signing Darko Milicic, Leandro Barbosa and Jeff Green they should have a solid...
Your Morning Dump… Where Legler has no problem with Rondo’s hard foul on Wade
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Much of the talk about Tuesday night centered on Rajon Rondo’s flagrant foul on Dwyane Wade in the closing seconds of the game. Legler did not have an issue with the play.
Said Legler: “I look at it as a guy...
All NBA Media is Local- Boston Celtics
Here is a look at the local media contingent that follows the BOSTON CELTICS. Newspaper- Many newspaper outlets cover the Celtics, but the two biggest names are the Boston Globe (subscription may be required) and the Boston Herald. The Globe online is handled through Boston.com. The paper’s sports section includes a page dedicated to the Celtics.
Swagger - The Good Old Days
All this talk about Dwyane Wade whining about Rondo's hard foul had me thinking about how basketball used to be played. You know by now that I read a lot of books on Celtics history. I love reading the story about how the Celtics didn't back down from anyone. Those Celtics teams in the old days had some swagger. I know that part of that swagger came from winning, but...
Rondo a punk? Doc Rivers points to Wade injuring Rondo's elbow in response
Doc on Wade's "punk play" comment: "Don't forget about Rondo's elbow injury (in 2011 playoffs)…that was created by Dwyane Wade."— Boston Celtics (@celtics) November 1, 2012
Yeah, cause Dwyane Wade has never done a punk move in his life.
Seriously, I'm sick of Wade already. I never hated him before the Heat got LeBron and Bosh but since then...
KG Ignores Ray Allen Entering the Game Interacting with Celtics (video)
One of the main storylines heading into the first night of NBA play was Ray Allen suiting up for the Heat against his former team the Boston Celtics. We all know the offseason was filled with rumours as to why he left, the possible relationship strains in the locker room, lack of loyalty and the list goes on. One player in particular who was not fond of Allen’s decision was Kevin...
The Snub Felt Around the World: Video of Kevin Garnett ignoring Ray Allen
If you have not yet heard the news of Kevin Garnett’s cold shoulder to former teammate Ray Allen, you must not be listening to radio reports or watching SportsCenter. Maybe you live in a hole. Gary Tanguay of CSNNE said, ‘It’s bush league what Garnett did to Allen’. What do you think? Here’s the video so you can play [...]
Oh, to bleed Celtic green
With Opening Day just a few hours away, I decided to post an introspective look into my being a Celtics fan in another country. Hope it satiates the hunger for a bit while waiting for the 2012-2013 season.
There is something special about being a Celtics fan. Maybe it’s
the rich history, or the championship banners, the legendary Celtic pride,
Ubuntu or all of them. I really...
