Dirk Nowitzki has plenty to be frustrated about, but the Dallas Mavericks star forward missed mcuh of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee.  He should have expected a tough road upon his return.  Unfortunately, the road has been far more difficult than most expected.  Dallas is now eight games under .500 and far from looking like a play-off contender.  That has Nowitzki frustrated about the moves the Mavericks have made (or not made).After the Mavericks lost again on Saturday night, Nowitzki expressed his frustration while talking about the team's offseason.  Tim Macmahon of ESPN Dallas says Nowitzki questioned the Mavericks' offseason moves after the loss.  He was clearly upset that the team has yet to bring in a player who could help take some of the offensive burden off his shoulders. "It's going to be tough now," Nowitzki said. "I always liked to think you don't want to build your franchise on hope. We hoped for Deron last year. We hoped for Dwight. Why would he leave the Lakers? To me, it makes no sense. He's in a great situation. Why would CP3 leave? (The Los Angeles Clippers are) the best team in the league probably right now."The Mavericks had hoped they could hold on as Nowitzki sat and rehabbed his knee.  However, the rehab took longer than expected and Nowitzki was out much longer than was initially estimated.  Yet even with Nowitzki back in the lineup, the Mavericks have struggled.  The team is 1-6 since his return.
