Doc Rivers was named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month. It is the first time in his career that he has won the honor. This is the first time a Celtics coach won the honor since Chris Ford won it in 1992 when the Celtics went 9-1. In other Celtics news, Gabe Pruitt was sent to the Utah Flash, the Celtics D-League affiliate for the second time.
