Much was made of Dwight Howard including the Golden State Warriors on his list of five teams that are on his wishlist to sign with in free agency. It’s a major step forward for the Warriors just to be considered by Howard, one of the league’s best centers. A surprisingly successful season and a trip to the second-round of the NBA Playoffs has changed the landscape a bit and turned the Warriors into an attractive destination. And wow, what would it mean for one of the best fan environments in the league to see Howard head up North and play at Oracle? Imagine Dwight being fed the ball by Stephan Curry. How about a starting five of Curry, Klay Thompson, David Lee, Harrison Barnes and Howard? Imagining Curry and Thompson letting shots fly from three-point range while defenders are forced to focus on Howard down low is enticing.
