via USA Today: It is hard to know what Dwight Howard is thinking but it is looking more and more like he will be one and done in LA. Per USA Today: The so-called Super Team Lakers are 25-29, 3½ games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and just had salt poured directly in their basketball wounds by losing to the crosstown Clippers for the third time in as many tries on Thursday night by 24 points. I want to enjoy myself and not talk about free agency or what I’m going to do at the end of the season.” And this: “I’ve got to do what makes me happy. Report: Dwight Howard Telling Opposing Players He Will Be in Brooklyn Next Year

The Lakers might want to start taking some of these “rumors” seriously. You may not agree with Stephen A. Smith on 1st Take, but he isn’t prone to just making up stuff he doesn’t believe in true. No Guts, No Glory tracked down this audio from Stephen A. saying that Dwight Howard told Rudy Gay he is going to be in Brooklyn next year. Here is the exact quote from Stephen A...

The Celtics are conducting “preliminary talks” with the Los Angeles Lakers about swapping Rajon Rondo for Dwight Howard, according to CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger. Cross one of the list, Rondo-Howard talks were weeks ago

Last night unleashed a frenzy of trade rumors, most notably a report from CBS' Ken Berger that the Celtics and Lakers were in discussions about a Rajon Rondo - Dwight Howard swap. Here’s Another Candidate For Worst Free Throw Attempt Ever

The 2012-13 basketball season — both college and pro — has been one for the ages in regards to botched free throw attempts. The bar was set incomparably high (low?) back in December with this errant attempt from Appalachian State’s Brian Okam, which traversed about halfway down the lane before landing with a resounding thud. A few NBA players have also been involved in their...
