Dwight Howard to Atlanta may actually be a very real possibility.

Could Dwight Howard tear down more rims in Atlanta? (Courtesy Slam Online)

Is Atlanta actually where Dwight wanted to be all along? It makes sense. The Hawks cleared the cap space that Brooklyn lost in the Joe Johnson trade. He is from Atlanta, so returning home has to be a plus. Two of his best friends are on the team, in Josh Smith and Anthony Morrow. When Josh Smith was interviewed by in Vegas he allured to the fact that they had known each other since preschool and you can bet that he is talking to his friend regularly about joining the Hawks.

The only thing holding the Hawks back is that they really don’t have any trade pieces to offer Orlando and will have to wait it out until free agency more than likely. But. If the Hawks front-office can find away to get a trade together you can bet that Dwight Howard would love the opportunity to return home and reunite with his old friends Anthony Morrow and Josh Smith.
