Skolnick, The Palm Beach Post: LeBron James was so amused by Dwyane Wade’s new self-proclaimed nickname that he dared Wade to reveal it to the media before doing so himself. “It’s ‘WOW,’ Way of Wade,” James said, referring to the slogan for Wade’s Li-Ning shoes. “I think it’s corny.” Wade, who discarded the “Flash” nickname two years ago, did not concur. Wow? “I’m taking it global!” he shouted.

Just stick to D Wade. It is catchy and easy to remember. Sometimes simpler is better, no need to mess up a good thing. I know Li-Ning gave him a billion trillion dollars to wear their sneakers, but he should have stopped this immediately when it was presented to him.

Dwyane Wade has come up with a new nickname for himself, and at least one of his Miami Heat teammates does not approve. According to Ethan J. Skolnick of The Palm Beach Post, Wade would now like to be referred to as “WOW.”
