All Flash. Omega Flash Mob serenades crowd and sends message to Superman.

ORLANDO (Sportsman’s Daily Wire Service) Shoppers at Festival Bay Mall in Orlando were caught off guard yesterday as the Omega Flash Mob suddenly broke into song with lyrics targeted at Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard. They begged the center/power forward to please “shut yer freekin’ pie hole,” a clear reaction to Howard’s recent overtures of wanting to leave the Magic.

Though Howard was some 900 miles north in Philadelphia suffering another loss at the hands of the Sixers, the message got through to him loud and clear.

“Wow! Maybe I should just keep my thoughts to myself.” said Howard. “The last thing I need to inspire is a bunch of school of the arts dropouts and retirees breaking into song on my behalf. Damn.”

Howard did play it low key after the 74-69 loss to the Sixers.

“Right now this is my team, and I’m here to help them win. But at the end of the day, just get me out of Disney World, that’s all I ask.” Howard added. “I want to go somewhere where everyone isn’t walking around in a fantasy world, like maybe Los Angeles.”

Is It Time to ‘Irsay’ the Magic?

With Dwight Howard’s impending departure and the Orlando Magic’s poor play as of late, should Magic owner Rich DeVos take the nuclear option and blow up his team the way Jim Irsay has done the Indianapolis Colts? Irsay has gotten a lot of flack over recent weeks for the radical changes he has made to his team since the NFL regular season ended but I don’t think anyone would...

Magic look to turn things around, face Wizards

Tune into Sun Sports at 630 p.m. to watch the Orlando Magic take on the Washington Wizards. NBA Magic territory. Dwight Howard ripped into his Orlando teammates after a 26-point loss late last week, but offered reassuring words about the Magic's confidence level following their fourth consecutive dreadful defeat. He might not be so kind if that skid gets to five. Howard and...

Blake Griffin throws ball, doesn't dunk

I understand I am sitting alone on this island but where I come from that isn't a dunk. We gave Dwight Howard the same hard time at the Slam Dunk contest where he threw the ball through the hoop. I am not discrediting the play, it was a big basket no doubt but to say he dunked on Perkins is a bit of a stretch, but I guess this is the world we live in where we want to credit...

Wizards-Magic Preview

Dwight Howard ripped into his Orlando teammates after a 26-point loss late last week, but offered reassuring words about the Magic's confidence level following their fourth consecutive dreadful defeat. He might not be so kind if that skid gets to five. Howard and the increasingly dysfunctional Magic hope to begin turning things around Wednesday night against the Washington...

The Orlando Magic Are Laughably Terrible Right Now

To say that things aren’t going well for the Orlando Magic would be an incredible understatement. Since defeating the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 24, the team has fallen into a four-game skid that if defined as abysmal would be a compliment. But it all actually started the night before that win, when the Magic produced a pathetic 56-point performance in a loss to the Boston Celtics...

Presenting Lealster!

I guess I should introduce myself before I go posting articles all willy nilly.   My name is Lealster, I manage the soon-to-be D.IV Big Blue Machine. USA Today and the Associated Press have named me as one of the top 2000 managers to watch this decade. My accolades include several wins over bots, which is more impressive after you watch the Terminator movies. Now that my credibility...

Magic beat Wizards to snap 4-game slide (AP)

Ryan Anderson scored 23 points, including six 3-pointers, to help the Orlando Magic snap a four-game losing streak with a 109-103 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. Dwight Howard and J.J. Redick added 21 points each for Orlando, which beat Washington for the eighth straight time. It was the Magic's first 100-point game since a win at Indiana on Jan.
