Bush League Chronicle:
It appears as though former NBA forward Kenyon Martin is in need of some cash. This is an assumption based on the fact that the 34-year old is currently employed and he is attempting to sell his Texas mansion for $5 million. The 15,000-square foot home resides on 8.4 acres in a Dalworthington suburban neighborhood. It comes with seven bathrooms, six fireplaces, a nine-car garage, and five bedrooms. You read that right, folks. Martin's pad boasts more fireplaces than it does rooms to sleep in.Despite the lack of places to lay one's head, the home also includes a massive in-ground swimming pool bordered by dolphin fountains, a pair of water slides, a four-lane bowling alley, and a pecan orchard. Yes, a pecan orchard. Who knows to what extent that is?Martin, the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2000 out of Cincinnati, most recently played in the league as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2011-12 campaign. He appeared in 42 games and averaged 5.2 PPG and 4.3 RPG. He has yet to latch onto an NBA roster this season, though.Martin is set to turn 35 on Dec. 30.Via USA Today.
