FOX Sports Southwest was honored with six Emmys at the 10th annual Lone Star Emmy Awards recognizing broadcast excellence in Texas held Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The six wins brings FOX Sports Southwest's Lone Star Emmy total to 44 since the inception of the awards. The regional sports network was awarded statues at this year's event for its live event and original programming, and on-camera talent. FOX Sports Southwest kept its streak alive in the Live Sports Event category, winning the Emmy for the 10th consecutive year for its broadcast of the Dallas Mavericks shutting down the New York Knicks and Jeremy Lin last season on March 6, 2012. Dallas Stars announcers Ralph Strangis and Daryl Reaugh won Emmys as the state's top play-by-play and analyst team. It marked the fourth time the Stars broadcasters received the award.
