Both the Bucks and the Nets try to get back into game shape tonight after the long All-Star break, in which's festivities MIlwaukee wasn't represented at all. Of course, the Nets had Brook Lopez in both the Shooting Stars Contest and All-Star Game--which were each exercises in defeat for Brooklyn's center--while Milwaukee had no representatives in any of the weekend's events.
The Bucks try to extend their reign of dominance over the Nets franchise which extends back 13 games, aided by two early-season Milwaukee wins over Brooklyn that nudged the streak to wh...

As questions about his weight and injuries continue to float around someone finally decided to come to the defense of Williams. His coach.

Although the Nets have been at the forefront of trade chatter in the last couple of weeks, most notably for wanting to rid themselves of Kris Humphries, team GM, Billy King, says the chances of a trade happening before Thursday’s deadline is at 10%.
According to ESPN NY:
Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King put the likelihood he’ll make a deal by Thursday’s 3 p.m. trade...
ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- The Milwaukee Bucks returned to the practice floor Monday after the four-day All-Star break and did so with their starting center back in the fold.

Joe Johnson put on a show Tuesday night as his Brooklyn Nets hosted the Milwaukee Bucks, hitting two clutch shots when his teamed need them most.
With the Nets down 105-102 late in the fourth, Johnson spotted up at the top of the key and nailed a deep three-pointer with one second left to send the game into overtime.
Then, Johnson did it again. With just over four seconds left and...
The closer the calendar gets to Thursday's NBA trade deadline, the more rumors get thrown against the wall, with only a fraction of them actually sticking.
Everything heard this time of year must be taken with heavy skepticism, but those plugged in around the league can usually pinpoint the teams making the most phone calls. This year, three teams have been listed by many as...
The Nets have offered Marshon Brooks and Kris Humphries along with a first round pick for Paul Pierce. Celtics politely declined. This according to Wojo.
He has more about the KG to the Clippers rumor in that article as well. Sounds like it'd have to be a domino thing where Pierce gets dealt and then KG waives his no-trade clause and accepts the deal.
That article also...
If the Brooklyn Nets want Josh Smith, Paul Pierce or Ersan Ilyasova, they need to offer a sweeter deal than Kris Humphries and MarShon Brooks. The Nets have shopped the pair to Atlanta, Boston and Milwaukee and, so far, no one is interested.
The play for J-Smoove has long been rumored.
The Celtics and Nets reportedly talked about a deal for Pierce that included Brooklyn sending...
Jerry Stackhouse took an active role in the NBPA's meeting on Saturday that led to the dismissal of executive director of Billy Hunter.
Paul Pierce still seems likely to stay put in Boston, but that is not stopping other teams from trying. The Brooklyn Nets, who reportedly were close to acquiring Pierce in a trade last season when the team was in New Jersey, have made another offer for the Celtics captain.
The Nets offered Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks and a first-round draft pick to the Celtics for Pierce, Yahoo...

The Nets are offering Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks and a first round pick for Paul Pierce.
Brandon Jennings wants out, but he’s a restricted free agent next summer. So he’s got less room to move, as opposed to Monta Ellis. Ellis may very well leave $11 mil on the table in order to become a free agent next season. This is huge, and best believe Ellis can be a legitimate contributor to a true contender next season. The Bucks are on the verge of losing their anchors.
Brook made a relatively ineffective All-Star debut appearance last night in the East's loss to the West in Houston
As the Eastern Conference All-Stars were edged by those of the West last night in Houston by a score of 143-138, the Brooklyn Nets' only representative--Brook Lopez--played a pretty minor role, garnering just 11 minutes of playing time and...
