Sacramento Kings' swingman Francisco Garcia(notes) underwent a successful three-hour surgery over the weekend to repair a fractured forearm and ligament damage to his wrist.The fifth-year veteran injured himself when the exercise ball he was laying on while lifting weights popped before team practice on Friday. No, seriously. Boom goes the physioball!Kings spokesman Darrin May said Garcia will spend eight weeks in a cast and is expected to miss at least four months of action. The would-have-been starting small forward averaged 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season.But back to the culprit: Sam Amick of The Sac Bee reports that the exercise balls have been removed from the weight room, "with no word yet whether a sacrificial burning of the rubber menaces is yet to come."An unlucky break?
