Gary Neal will be returning to the Spurs after missing a couple of games.credit: cdn1.sbnation.com Gary Neal has been a consistent performer off the bench for the past few seasons for a very deep San Antonio Spurs team. The guard from Towson is known for his scoring and shooting ability, and is one of the few guys in the league who can come off the bench and fuel an offense for periods of time. Neal has missed the past few games with a laceration on his shooting hand. Fairly ordinary, right? Well, not when you hear the story of how it happened. Via My San Antonio: “It’s bad luck, right?,” said Neal, who is averaging a career-high 10.1 points on 63.6 percent true shooting. “I was zipping up my bag, and I ripped it across the zipper and it just pulled the skin off. It was bad luck. Sometimes things happen.” Not your typical NBA injury. Gary Neal is now ready to go, and hopefully he’ll be a little more cautious around his luggage next time. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post Gary Neal Lacerated His Finger On A Luggage Zipper appeared first on Pass The Pill.
