In Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James appeared to be cramping with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Heat had to intuitionally foul the Spurs to stop the game and James returned to the bench. Once James left the game for good, the Spurs went on a 16-3 run to a 110-95 win. It was a perfect opportunity for sports drink company Gatorade to troll the Heat star — who is sponsored by Powerade. @ryanbkoo The person cramping wasn’t our client. Our athletes can take the heat. — Gatorade (@Gatorade) June 6, 2014 They’re pretty good at trolling: @CarmichaelDave This is awkward….We don’t sponsor him. #fail — Gatorade (@Gatorade) June 6, 2014 Very snarky: @LazyBumDrew we were waiting on the sidelines, but he prefers to drink something else. — Gatorade (@Gatorade) June 6, 2014 Don’t ever expect LeBron to sign a sponsorship deal with Gatorade.
