PLAYERS: George Hill
TEAMS: Indiana Pacers
George Hill was irate following the Pacers 99-93 home loss to the Lakers on Friday night, and it wasn’t simply because they lost.  Hill went on a rant ripping Pacers fans for not supporting the team enough at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse where the crowd was predominantly Lakers fans Friday evening.  After losing an “important” game to LA, Hill, who said the Pacers have done their part in the community, demanded a change. According to the Indy Star: “It sucks. It was 70 (Lakers fans) – 30 (Pacers fans) out there. These are the same people that wants autographs after the game. We’re out there in the community. We’re doing our job, doing what we’re supposed to do on and off the court. Something has to change.” “They always say your fans are your sixth man and you feed off that energy. Energy is down and we turn the ball over and we’re hearing cheers. We’re missing shots and we’re hearing cheers. That kind of brings your head down cause you know you’re at home. It shouldn’t be like

George Hill Says ‘It Sucks’ Indiana Fans Show Lack of Support Against Top NBA Teams

In small sports-market cities all over the country, it’s not uncommon to see more fans chanting for the away team than the home team. Pacers stumble against 76ers, lose 2 straight

Depressing loss against a lottery team. The Pacers looked like they were the better team on paper and acted like they could turn it on at any minute to pull the game away. Unfortunately, that never happened. Jrue Holiday and Spencer Hawes of all people just killed the Pacers, who unbelievably, still held a 1-point lead heading into the fourth. But the 76ers turned it on and the...

Pacers-Cavaliers Preview

The Indiana Pacers' normally stout defense has been subpar in the last two games. They would seemingly have better luck against a Cleveland team playing without Kyrie Irving, but the Cavaliers are coming off one of their highest-scoring games of the season. Trying to avoid a third straight loss, the Central Division-leading Pacers look to continue their recent dominance over...
