CHICAGO -- Paul George hit just 2 of 18 shots during the last two games of Indiana's West Coast trip. So when the Pacers landed in Indianapolis after a red-eye flight from Oakland, George went straight to the gym for two hours of shooting. The extra practice paid off, as George poured in 34 points and Indiana won a defensive battle against Chicago 80-76 on Tuesday at the United Center. "The way I shot the ball against Sacramento and Golden State, it really brought me down," George said. "I let the team down by the way I shot the ball. I had to get in the gym and put up 500 shots -- from floaters to mid-range to 3-pointers. I mixed it all up. That's something I need to continue to keep doing." Indiana trailed by four points with less than four minutes remaining. Then George capped a 6-0 run and put the Pacers ahead 76-74 with 2:05 left on a 16-foot pull-up jumper. The Bulls missed two chances to tie the score and Lance Stephenson got loose under th...

OUT OF SIGHT...
The Indiana Pacers beat the Portland Trail Blazers last night 99-92. Roy Hibbert had an action packed fourth quarter of hiding the blood on his shirt. With 2:44 left in the game, Hibbert spotted a big blood stain on his jersey and didn't want to come out of the game to clean it off, so like a true NBAer, Hibbert jacked his pants up as high as Urkel to hide the stain from...
Can the Indiana Pacers ever win a championship with George Hill as their starting point guard? The answer to the question is debatable, but judging from the five-year, $40 million contract they gave him over the summer, Indiana’s chief decision-makers believed it was a resounding yes.
After finding themselves a few bounces of the ball away from an Eastern Conference...
