Orlando Magic big man Glen Davis has received a technical foul in four straight games heading into Monday's affair against the Brooklyn Nets. Davis now has a total of five on the season and could be on the hook for some fines and/or suspensions if the trend continues. Luckily, the opinionated Davis seems to have a plan to avoid getting into any further trouble.“I’m not going to say ‘Hi,’ ” he pledged. “I’m not going to say, ‘How are you doing?’ I’m just going to come here and play. That’s it because it’s been messing up my game, messing up the flow of my game, and I’ve got to grow up.”Davis believes his size (6-foot-9, 290 pounds) often leads to some chippy fouls being called on him. His aggressive playing style probably doesn't help his cause either.“You can’t just think that I am stronger than everybody else,” he said. “If people foul you, they foul you. You know what I mean? Yeah, I don’t jump high. I go straight to the rim. But I’m not going to complain if there’s not a foul. The refs know that. But I’ve got to blend in with the game and let them do what they need to do. So I just need to shut up.”"Big Baby", as he is known around the league, is averaging 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season.Via Orlando Sentinel
