We saw a Greek tragedy unfolding, or should I say…dragedy, as Goran Dragic was stuck in a fall from grace. Last night saw some redemption as he scored 12 points to pair with 11 assists, plus a steal and a block. His points have kind of become steady around the 10-12 mark, which is not near his November production but at least better than December. This is his first double digit dish game in January, and while he was never that prolific with assists anyway, it is still nice to that level of statistical generosity after 6 games where he only had more than 4 dimes once. Here’s what else happened in the NBA: Josh Smith – He finished the night with 30 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 blocks. I declare him King of Wednesday Night (ignore those 7 TOs). Stephen Curry – Yesterday, I pimped Curry for daily fantasy leagues; he went for 31 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals, although he took 14 three point attempts and only made 3 (that affects ratios!). Tony Parker – I also suggest...

Behind the scenes: Chuck and John argue over what the Celtics should do

Sometimes, Chuck and I get into heated behind-the-scenes debates over the Celtics (among other things).  They often devolve into wild leaps of logic, exaggerations of each others’ arguments, and name-calling.  Today, Chuck decided he wanted to pull the trigger on some kind of trade.  I have been steadfast in my belief that while the’re no guarantee things will work out with...
