Nobody will ever forget Gordon Hayward’s halfcourt shot against Duke at the buzzer that just rattled out, sealing a Duke national championship. Hayward has come a long way since his Butler days, and has developed into a much better NBA player than most people predicted. He’s averaging a solid 14 points per game in just his third year, and has become a reliable scorer for a team lacking a ton of perimeter offensive firepower.
