The Memphis Grizzlies acquired Kosta Koufos in a trade from the Denver Nuggets, and the Grizzlies had coveted the center for over the past year. Marc Gasol has played major minutes in the last two seasons and Koufos is expected to be the backup. There may also be times when Koufos and Gasol play together in the Grizzlies' frontcourt.
