For the first time since 2008-09, Nuggets center Chris Andersen will likely start a game. The Birdman practiced with the first team this morning at shootaround and coach George Karl suggested the big man could start against defending-champ Dallas tonight at Pepsi Center. Starting center Timofey Mozgov remains out with a lefty ankle sprain. Andersen is coming off a big game against Houston, in which he scored 10 points with nine boards. And so, with Arron Afflalo and Nene set to return, Denver’s starting lineup will be – Ty Lawson, Afflalo, rookie Julyan Stone, Nene and Andersen. Karl said Nene will start out on Dirk Nowitzki with Al Harrington helping out off the bench.
