The first two names you here when talking about the Rockets nowadays are James Harden and Dwight Howard. Hall of famer and Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon is throwing a different twist on things.
Olajuwon sees Jeremy Lin and Dwight Howard as a deadly 1-2 punch. He explained his reasoning for this believe to Fox 26.
“Just the little offense I saw, that combination is very deadly,” Olajuwon told Fox 26. “You can see that both of them are very excited, seeing that, ‘Wow, we bring the right ingredients together…’
“To be on the right team, which (Lin) is right now, he can really help and play his role very well and be effective,” Olajuwon told Fox 26. “There’s no pressure on him now. It’s on Dwight and James (Harden). [Lin's] position is crucial for the team’s success, and he can play that role very well.”
Olajuwon is making sure Lin improves, he has reportedly been helping Lin on his post moves.

Back on Monday, Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin was in Palo Alto, California to help christen a brand-new community outdoor basketball court at Mitchell Park in his hometown.
During the ceremony, the locals wanted Lin to score the first hoop at the new court and chose the mayor of Palo Alto Greg Scharff to guard him.

Hakeem Olajuwon is releasing his first line of signature basketball shoes, “Dream Shake.” The shoes will come in black, blue, red, orange/black and yellow/red, to represent the classic Rockets over the years. The shoes go on sale Saturday.
