When it comes to Canada and basketball folks tend to think about Steve Nash and try not to think about the Toronto Raptors. In a couple years that will all change. Why is that? Because we'll be talking about this guy--Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins is one of the hottest players on the continent and the next one and done lottery pick that some lucky college will get to enjoy for one year next season. There are some that think he would be a top lottery pick in the coming draft if high school players were still eligible to be drafted. But alas, they are not so he will end up helping some top flight program remain on top for one more season before entering the 2014 draft. "Everyone last year was trying to figure out a way to get him next year," a longtime NBA scout and ex-player told Yahoo! Sports. "Teams are plotting and preparing for when he gets out of school. Character. Demeanor. Athleticism. Coachable. He makes the game look like it's insanely too easy...The total package." Rumor has it that these are the top four teams trying to land him for next season: Kentucky, Kansas, Florida State and North Carolina.
