Zaza Pachulia of the Atlanta Hawks has received a warning for violating the league’s anti-flopping rule during the Hawks vs. Wizards game on Dec. 7.
The flop came in the fourth quarter of Friday’s 104-95 win over the Wizards. Washington forward Kevin Seraphin swung his elbows after grabbing a rebound and although Pachulia was close, their elbows did not touch. That didn’t stop the Hawks center from flailing backwards as if he had been hit in the head. The referee, who had a good angle on the play, did not make a call on the play but that wont stop the league from coming down on Pachulia.
If Zaza Pachulia violates the league’s policy a second time he will be fined $5,000.
