Lebron-james-part-time
Halfway to a title, and LeBron James shows no sign of letting this one get away. James had 29 points and 14 rebounds, and the Miami Heat took a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals with a 91-85 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. Dwyane Wade had 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Heat, who were in this same position through three games last year, then didn't win again against the Dallas Mavericks. James' poor performance was part of the problem then, but he seems on top of his game this time. His 3-pointer sent the Heat to the fourth quarter with the lead, and he scored five straight Miami points when the Heat were building just enough cushion to hold off another late flurry by the Thunder. Game 4 is Tuesday night. Kevin Durant had 25 points for the Thunder, but picked up his fourth foul in the third quarter and had to go to the bench when they had seemed to have control of the game. Russell Westbrook finished with 19 points.

The LeBron James hairline song (Video)

Whether it’s deserving or not, Miami Heat forward LeBron James has a lot of “haters” out there.  Most will point to how he left Cleveland or his perceived arrogance on and off the court.  Others will point to his inability to hit the big shot at the end of games.  Some will point to the fact that despite only being 27 years old, LeBron looks like he’s pushing 40, mainly...

2012 NBA Finals: LeBron James Comes Up Big, Rallies Past Thunder at Home in Game 3

The Miami Heat are finally starting to get things together for themselves. Unlike the past two games in this year’s NBA Finals, the Heat were in for a close one with the Oklahoma City Thunder throughout the game. Both LeBron James and Kevin Durant were having their ways against each other and opposing players throughout the game. It was just a matter of who came up bigger. For...

Chubby Miami Heat fan showing off her rolls

There is nothing positive to say about this plump Miami Heat fan’s video. If you were wondering why Lebron James has been playing so well in the finals, maybe it’s because he has such “huge” fans like this rotund young lady. I could have done without the jiggling of the fat rolls… Chubby Miami Heat fan showing off her rolls was first posted on June 19, 2012 at...

Bill Lyon: LeBron James Is The Third Best Player In NBA History

The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Bill Lyon decided to write a column in which he ranked the top 15 NBA players of all-time. For some odd reason (I assume it was for some traffic to his article), Lyon ranked LeBron James as the third best player in NBA history. Here’s Lyon’s complete rankings: 1. Wilt Chamberlain 2. Michael Jordan 3. LeBron James 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Oscar Robertson...

Serge Ibaka says LeBron James is ‘not a good defender’

LeBron James is widely considered to be one of the better defenders in the NBA. Whether he is truly effective defensively or officials are just too scared to call fouls against the league’s biggest star is a debate for another day. Regardless, LeBron has the size and speed to cover just about anyone in the league. Serge Ibaka does not agree. “LeBron is not a good defender,...

2012 NBA Finals: LeBron James Says You Can’t Stop Kevin Durant, Only Can Contain Him

LeBron James versus Kevin Durant. It’s what everyone wanted in this year’s NBA Finals and now we’ve got it. So far, it’s been one helluva match-up, as both continue to put up points so far judging by the last two games. Durant has really shown what he’s like to James so far, as he racked up 36 points in Game 1 as the Oklahoma City Thunder completely destroyed Miami in...

LeBron James Gave Dwyane Wade A No Look Dish For An “And One”

During Game 3 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James gave a no look dish to Dwyane Wade who went full speed to the basket and did a reverse layup while the confused Oklahoma City Thunder players watched in confusion. A foul was called so Wade got an “and one” opportunity which set the Miami Heat crowd into an uproar. The team that wins Game 3 of the NBA Finals wins 85% of the time...

2012 NBA Finals: LeBron James Responds to Serge Ibaka, Calls Him Stupid

Serge Ibaka may have shown jealousy after LeBron James having his way with the Oklahoma City Thunder so far after three games. Ibaka decided to take a shot at the Miami Heat forward, saying he he wasn’t a good defender and that he can only guard for only two-to-three minutes, not a full 48. James has already heard enough criticism. During the pregame press conference Tuesday,...

Why We Should Still Hate LeBron

Caps correspondent (and Wiz fan!) Brad Parker checks in to assure you that rooting against LeBron James isn’t just okay, it’s encouraged. We live in a world with incessant sports coverage. ESPN has at least five channels. D.C. has three sports radio stations. The Internet exists. In many ways that’s awesome. In others it nearly ruins the experience of being a fan. For every...

VIDEO: Jeremy Lin Wins “Social Breakout Player of the Year”

NBA TV named Jeremy Lin the winner of the first ever “Social Breakout Player of the Year” award on Monday, and it only seems fitting. The overnight sensation had a more significant increase in Twitter and Facebook popularity than any other player in the league. Jeremy Lin was also the first NBA player ever to record 20 points and 7 assists in each of his first 5 starts as a...

Three adjustments for the Miami Heat for Game Three

The Miami Heat played a wonderful first half and did just enough in the fourth quarter to hold of a momentous rally and send thousands of Oklahoma City fans home shaking their heads. Shane Battier might have been the MVP of that game if SF LeBron James did not steal the show and prove himself in the Durant vs. James argument with an identical point line and better numbers...
