PLAYERS: Chris BoshLeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat
After "The Decision," Chris Bosh signing with the Heat and the circus of an introduction of the Heat's new "Big 3," LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade were put under the microscope and faced tons of criticism. After a rocky first year together, heading into their second season as a group, the pressure was on - win a title or suffer a huge backlash and possibly, blowing it all up. But last year proved that not only can James lead a team to the promise land, the trio that was put together in such a dramatic way can bring a title to Miami and prove the critics wrong. Last season the Heat's "Big 3" won it all in just their second season together bringing James and Bosh their first championship and Wade his second. [follow]

NBA Star Of The Night: Chris “I Get Buckets” Bosh

The Denver Nuggets lost to the Miami Heat by three points, and one may assume without watching the game — or the boxscore — that it was LeBron James that burned the Mile High Squad. Oh, No. Forget Tebow Time, it was Bosh Time in Miami. Chris Bosh boasted 40 points on 15-for-22 shooting, 7 [...]The post NBA Star Of The Night: Chris “I Get Buckets” Bosh appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

Miami raises banner for LeBron James' gold

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James' name is now flying over the Miami Heat's home court. The Heat unveiled a banner Saturday night to commemorate James' participation on the gold-medal winning U.S. men's basketball team at this summer's London Olympics. James' banner sways next to those honoring previous Heat players who were gold-medal winners: Dwyane Wade (2008...

Knicks set to host Heat in delayed season opener

LeBron James and the champs. Opening night at Madison Square Garden. Under normal circumstances, as electric a scene as there is in the NBA. Things are still far from normal in New York. Already postponed once by Superstorm Sandy, the New York Knicks will begin their season Friday night against the Miami Heat, not sure what to expect when they take the floor but hoping it helps...

Bosh scores 40 in Heat victory

MIAMI - Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said the fast tempo reminded him of "circa 1980s NBA." The old-school basketball worked for Miami as Chris Bosh scored 40 points, and Ray Allen haunted his former coach with a four-point play with 6.7 seconds left. That helped give the Heat a 119-116 victory over the Denver Nuggets Saturday night. Andre Iguodala's 20-foot jumper...

Heat 119, Nuggets 116

MIAMI - Chris Bosh scored 40 points, and Ray Allen haunted his former coach with a four-point play with 6.7 seconds left to lead the Miami Heat to a 119-116 win over the Denver Nuggets Saturday night. Andre Iguodala's 20-foot jumper had given Denver a 116-115 lead with 14.1 seconds left. But Allen drifted to his favorite spot on the floor -- the left corner -- took a pass from...

Nuggets-Heat Preview

LeBron James has been spectacular both times he has faced the Denver Nuggets since joining the Miami Heat. Perhaps the key to which team will win Saturday night will be how well Dwyane Wade fares. The Heat return home after a difficult trip that resulted in a loss as they try to drop the new-look Nuggets to 0-3. Miami (1-1) and Denver have met three times since James joined the...

Heat have mixed feelings about Friday's game

NEW YORK (AP) -- Dwyane Wade thinks the NBA should have postponed Miami's game at New York on Friday night, while LeBron James is "50-50" over whether the game should be played. With New York hit hard by Superstorm Sandy, the Knicks' game scheduled for Thursday in Brooklyn was postponed, and Heat players thought theirs would follow. Instead, they flew from Miami...

Harden Man Dinner

In terms of actual acquisition versus projected round/value, James Harden was one of the top three players in any draft I participted in. People were anxious to get a hold of the great bearded one. Why? Well, last night was a reason why. Harden put up 37 points, including 4 of 10 from downtown, plus 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and a block. LeBron James can retire, I think we...

The Simpson’s Top 100: Part 1

Well my beloved fans on TSHQ.co, every once and a great while, us writers decide it’s time to treat you to something out of the ordinary. Whether it be LeBron James branded heroin, a recap of our favorite writer Bryan Doherty’s lack luster love life, or a preview of TV Guide during a piss poor Dolphins game which no one wants to watch. We’re here to really show you the better...

Are the Heat a dynasty or a one-hit wonder?

For those that like to overreact to the first couple days of the season, there sure is a lot to get worked up about. The Los Angeles Lakers, who were supposed to go 82-0, are sitting at 0-2 and their big rival in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder, lost their opener in dramatic fashion. Over in the East, the Miami Heat easily dispatched the Boston Celtics, who are...

Heat not sure about playing in NY

Dwyane Wade thinks the NBA should have postponed Miami's game at New York on Friday night, while LeBron James is ''50-50'' over whether the game should be played.
