NBA Injury News:
Early on last season, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was posting impressive totals. He looked like the Dwyane Wade of old as the Heat were clicking on all cylinders. However, toward the end of the season, Miami, and Wade, slowed down. For his part, Wade is optimistic regarding his health moving forward, telling Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that he has no reason to believe his knees will present lingering issues for the remainder of his career.“I don’t worry about it because I’ve dealt with so many different injuries since I was young and I’ve always bounced back and found a way to be the player you guys have seen,” he said Friday morning at the Westin Diplomat before overseeing his fantasy basketball camp. “I’ve seen it work with my body before. I’m confident it will. My skills haven’t diminished. I’m not done yet.”Wade was largely limited in the playoffs with his knee problems. His style of play has his body seemingly much older than the 31 years he’s been on this earth. He doesn’t believe he’ll need to have his minutes limited early on in the 2013-14 season to ensure he’s healthy down the stretch and into the playoffs. While Wade is confident in his body and production moving forward, others are not. It will be telling to see how the veteran handles another long season. He’s expected to look fresh and perhaps like his old self early on, but it’s to be determined how he does as the season wears on and the playoffs approach.Follow @hoopsinjurynews
BEST OF MAXIM
Dwyane Wade has not spent time recruiting free agents to the Miami Heat this offseason.
"I left that all to them," Wade said of the front office, aware of the luxury-tax limitations of the Heat's efforts. "I got away, understanding that we have little that we can do. And Pat Riley is the best at what he does, so he's fine. We all understand the nature of the...

If Greg Oden’s knees can give the Heat some valuable minutes Miami may easily be on their way to a 3-peat.
In the meantime, Kobe is in the gym doing...

It has been so long since we have seen the big fella in any sort of training mode, that seeing a picture of him with LeBron all sweaty is just hard to really digest. We are rooting for Greg and hope his stint in Miami is injury free.

One of the notable individuals watching the replay of that classic game is Miami Heat star LeBron James who decided to shout out Bulls forward Scottie Pippen in a couple of tweets:
Watching vintage Games. @ScottiePippen was a beast man!! Don't think he fully gets...

Earlier in the week on TNLP, we featured a video of Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant running on an anti-gravity treadmill in an Instagram clip.
Now, LeBron James decided that since it worked for Kobe, it might as well work for him:

Stephen Curry broke Ray Allen’s record for most three-pointers made in a single season last season. Most consider him the best shooter in the game.
Curry is so great offensively that most feel his defense has to be a liability. His defensive impact isn’t nearly as great it is on the other end, but he’s far from a liability. Warriors head coach Mark Jackson went as far to call...
LeBron James revealed his top three players of all time earlier this week, and read like a lot of list may with Jordan, Dr. J, and Larry Bird on top of Bron Bron’s list.
LeBron of course left out a lot of great players, and one such player who still has something of an ego, didn’t take to kindly to it.
Magic Johnson was left off that list, and was having none of it, taking to...
