The Miami Heat are tied with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals as the series shifts to Miami tonight for Game 5.

After going up 2-0 on Boston, many felt Miami would simply run away with the series but the Celtics were able to win both games on their home court thanks to great play from Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Mickael Pietrus, and a heavy dose of Kevin Garnett.

KG has played well with the absence of Chris Bosh for the heat as he is still dealing with an abdominal injury he suffered in the heat's series versus the Pacers.

And after looking like Miami can stand to get Bosh back in the paint to help defend KG, it was recently reported he could be back for tonight's Game 5 but head coach Erik Spoelstra says otherwise.

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra denied a report saying forward Chris Bosh was ready to return for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Spoelstra said Bosh's status is "day-to-day," and it was premature to think he could be ready for Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics. The series is tied at 2.

"Regarding Chris, there is a report out there that he's ready to go," Spoelstra said. "His status is day-to-day. I know everything is heightened because of the playoffs."

Well there you go Miami. Another game without Bosh which means Garnett will be a huge factor in tonight's matchup. Not like Joel Anthony, Ronny Turiaf, Dexter Pittman and Udonis Haslem have done a magnificent job at limiting KG.

Last night the Thunder were able to survive a late-game surge by the Spurs and able to steal a game in San Antonio. Without Bosh, could Boston be ready to do the same? Momentum is on the Celtics' side heading into tonight's contest especially after a thrilling OT win in Game 4 in Boston.

Should Boston win tonight, one has to wonder if the Heat will have no choice but to bring in Bosh sooner than later to avoid any shot of a Celtic's upset.
