Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was given a technical foul in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's NBA game against the Chicago Bulls for grabbing an official with two hands.
Turkoglu was upset about a foul that was not called, and he ran up to the referee to try to make his point, not to hurt the referee in any way. However, the NBA rules are very clear that you can not touch the referee, and the ref did not hesitate to call the technical.
The foul came at a critical juncture, as Kyle Korver made the technical free throw to tie the game at 89 with 3:47 left in the game. Fortunately, the Magic were able to pull things together afterwards and come away with a 99-94 victory.

For the first quarter, Bulls fans had to be salivating, and then dreaming. Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose. Same team. Imagine.
Howard was scoring all the points and getting all the rebounds. And Orlando was blowing out the Bulls.
Then Howard sat down for a rest, and who knows where his mind went. His dominance. His force. He produced massive numbers in the Magic's 99-94 win...
Dwight Howard had 29 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic to a 99-94 win over the Bulls on Thursday, snapping Chicago's eight-game winning streak.
Chicago twice overcame double-digit deficits and led 91-89 with 2:56 to play after Derrick Rose passed to Carlos Boozer for a jumper.
