Hornets’ Gordon could make his season debut on Saturday

Eric Gordon However, Gordon has only played in 9 games for the Hornets, as Paul excels with the Los Angeles Clippers. Gordon could play in his 10th game – and first this season – on Saturday at the Charlotte Bobcats. On Wednesday morning, Gordon said he would debut before the end of the year. With the Hornets having back to back games on Friday and Saturday, it is not likely that he’ll play on Friday and makes Saturday more likely. Hornets head coach Monty Williams hopes that Gordon can play on Saturday, then eventually send rookie Austin Rivers to the bench. This is, of course, as long as Gordon can stay healthy. On Christmas Day, it was reported that Gordon started to run 2-to-3 weeks ago and that his conditioning is what is preventing him from making his season debut.
