via NBA.com:   Golden State’s sharpshooter Steph Curry has made 536 three-pointers during his NBA career. His accuracy is mind-boggling considering current NBA regular season rankings he leads the NBA in three-point shots made and attempted. Curry also boasts the NBA’s best free-throw percentage (.909). What brings Ray Allen into the equation? Allen may have made 2,829 three pointers during his 19 year NBA career but that’s not where Curry edges him. He has not even been in the NBA long enough to attempt more threes than Allen has made during his career (1,318 career three point attempts).   According to NBA.com Curry only needs 56 3′s from his last 17 games to break Ray Allen’s record of most 3′s made in a season. This season Curry has made 214 which is 55 three-pointers short of matching Ray Allen’s best three point shooting season of 269 three-pointers made during the 05-06 season in Seattle. That means Curry would need to make at least 3 three pointers per game for the next 17 ...

You wouldn’t believe how Chris Andersen used to look (PHOTOS)

Via @MIAbirdman11: On Monday, Chris Andersen uploaded a picture on his Twitter account that shows just how far his ink progression has come. Check out the difference between Andersen as a D-Leaguer with the Fayetteville Patriots and how he looks now. Here are a few more pictures we found online of Anderson before the tattoos.

Ray Allen finds return visit to the Garden less welcoming

CSNNE The reception was different this time around. The video tribute had long ended, the reminiscent vibe was gone, and the nostalgia had clearly left the TD Garden. Ray Allen didn't receive special treatment from the Celtics fans in his second return to Boston on Monday since signing with the Miami Heat last summer. He was vehemently booed when he touched the ball, shot...

LeBron James Brandon Knight’ed Jason Terry

LeBron James absolutely crushed a dunk over Jason Terry during the first half of the Celtics and Heat match-up on Monday night.  The poster came only a week after Brandon Knight was dunked on in the same fashion by DeAndre Jordan.  LeBron was also receiving an alley-oop during his massacre of a defender.   Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Heat-Cavaliers Preview

LeBron James and the Miami Heat are about to play another game in Cleveland. Yawn. That's what a 23-game winning streak will do for a team. It mutes even the LeBron-Goes-Home-Again hype. Someday the Heat will lose another basketball game. Maybe even Wednesday night, when the reigning NBA champions drop by James' old neighborhood to take on James' old team, which happens...

Miami Heat Still Streaking; Win Nail Biter Over Boston

It was a lot closer than the Miami Heat would have liked it to be, but in the end the result was exactly what they wanted--a 105-103 win over the Boston Celtics to extend their winning streak to a record 23 in a row! History was not in favor of the Miami Heat as they tried to go for their 23rd consecutive win Monday night against the Boston Celtics. It had been sometime since...

LeBron James Destroys Jason Terry

LeBron James destroys Jason Terry with a fast break alley-oop jam midway through the second quarter on Monday night. Terry lost the ball before crossing half court and attempted to contest an airborne James from punching home the alley-oop but instead went flying himself and got a post-dunk stare down.

LeBron James Gives Jason Terry the Brandon Knight Treatment

I've been looking for it, but I haven't seen it yet. Brandon Knight has to tweet something in regards to the dunk that LeBron James threw down on Jason Terry Monday night. It doesn't have to be much. Something simple like "I guess everyone is going to quit making fun of me now #jasonterry" or some derivation of that would work. The taunting was...

Kevin Garnett 50/50 chance of playing against Heat

The Miami Heat have extended their winning streak to 22 straight games.  Now, they will face the Boston Celtics.  Regardless of the current state of the Celtics, Boston has always been a tough opponent for anyone facing them.  However, they may be without Kevin Garnett. According to ESPN Boston, Garnett has been limited not because of the need for extra rest at the end of the...

Fans, media remain fascinated with big dunks over small guys

By most accounts, LeBron James is 6-8, 270 lbs. Jason Terry is a modest 6-2, 180 lbs. I would expect James to dunk over Terry 100 out of 100 times. So… why the hell is the NBA blogosphere still buzzing about James’ dunk from last night? I thought we saw the end of this silliness when Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski lauded Brandon Knight for challenging this DeAndre Jordan highlight...

Boston Celtics Prove To Be Tough Opponent Against Miami Heat

Boston Celtics Stirring Effort Not Enough in Loss to Miami Heat   The Boston Celtics didn't deserve to lose on Monday night and they know it. Even the Miami Heat, a team celebrating their 23-game winning streak, knows they should have their heads down in defeat. Once again though it was turnovers that killed the Celtics off. They had an 18-point lead in the first quarter. They...
