Make no mistake, I’ll be the first one to say Gonzaga’s Austin Daye has a lot of growing up to do. All you have to do is look at his highlight reel to know he’s not ready to play with the big boys night in and night out. But putting his foot through the NBA door without slamming it shut is a brilliant idea, and one I’d take myself - if I was 6?7? and could block shots - which is something I can’t do. But I digress.
