But before Mourning was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2000, his career averages were over 20 points, 10 Boards, 3 Blks. From 1992-2001, Mourning made six all star teams in 8 years. He won two defensive player of the year awards and is the Miami Heat's all time leading scorer. He was all NBA first team in 1999 and made the second team in 2000. He has won two gold medals and a NBA championship.
