Longtime Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson is set to announce his retirement according to SlamOnline.com. The 38 year old has not played in the NBA since the 2009-2010 season where he spent time with the Grizzlies and Sixers. The 11 time All Star and future Hall of Famer struggled to come to terms with the fact that his career is over. Iverson was one of the best guards to ever play the game and had one of the biggest personalities in NBA history. He leaves a legacy of leading the Sixers to the 2001 NBA finals and averaged 26.7 points, 6.2 assists and 2.2 steals a game in his career. Of course he will be mostly remembered for his use of the word “practice”. Make the Click and discuss this and more on Philadelphia and New York’s BEST sports talk radio on MTR Radio.
