Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden made a steal and shot a 3-pointer in one fourth quarter sequence during Friday night's Game 3 of their NBA Western Conference semifinal series against the Los Angeles Lakers. As the Lakers called a timeout, ESPN cut to a James Harden fan wearing his jersey, headband and beard who was pretty excited after the play.

Harden scored 21 points off the bench, but the Thunder lost to the Lakers 99-96.

Harden gets his revenge on World Peace

While it wasn’t the same impact James Harden returned favor to Metta World Peace by elbowing him in the face. Of course we all remember the vicious elbow to the jaw World Peace gave to Harden, just before the regular season ended. For that World Peace was suspended for 7 games, with many of those coming in the playoffs. Now the Lakers and the Thunder are in the...

Russell Westbrook wears paint-splattered graffiti shirt with red pants (Pictures)

It would appear that the longer the Thunder stick around in the playoffs, the more ridiculous outfits we are going to see from Russell Westbrook. He has already made the Steve Urkel glasses a wardrobe mainstay, but Westbrook is obviously aiming to outdo himself with crazy shirts and now fruity pants. After the Thunder won Game 1, Westbrook took the podium wearing this masterpiece...

Metta World Peace, Russell Westbrook Get Into Scuffle During Game 3 of Lakers-Thunder Playoff Series (Video)

Metta World Peace is at it again. The Lakers forward got into a brief scuffle with another Thunder player during Friday night's Game 3, even if this incident wasn't quite as brutal as the elbow he delivered to James Harden a few weeks ago. World Peace and Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook both chased after a loose ball during the second quarter of Friday's game. The...

James Harden And Metta World Peace Will Never Be Friends

"Wait, am I the elbower or the elbowee?" By now, we should be over the fact that in a moment of testosterone- and adrenaline-fueled celebration, a professional athlete was careless and violently elbowed another player in the head. But since that athlete is Metta World Peace, AKA Ron Artest, we’ll never be over it, because WHEN IS HE GOING TO DO IT AGAIN??? Alas, we also...

Westbrook, World Peace tangled in scrum

The Western Conference semifinals matchup between the Lakers and Oklahoma City traveled to Los Angeles for Game 3 and of course it wouldn’t be a game at the Staples Center without Metta World Peace getting physical. To be fair, Russell Westbrook overreacted or if you prefer to use the words “spazzed out” over the incident. Both were [...]

Ex-Laker Fisher close to vanquishing old team

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- After chasing championships for so many years with the Los Angeles Lakers, Derek Fisher now finds himself standing squarely in their way. Fisher joined up with the Oklahoma City Thunder after getting traded away by the Lakers during the season, choosing to buy out of his own contract with the Houston Rockets and sign with a team he thought had a chance of winning...

Durant hits game winning three against the Lakers

Kevin Durant is making clutch shot after clutch shot in these 2012 playoffs. Last night was no different as Durant’s last second three gave the Thunder the win. Durant is making his case that he is the best player NBA . With the game tied at 98 Durant intercepted a bad pass from Pau Gasol. Then it was time for Durant to do his thing on the offensive end. Durant...

The Lakers Beat The Thunder, But You Didn’t See It Because You Got Bored And Fell Asleep

Lakers 99, Thunder 96: Could you get into this game?  If so, you’re a tougher soldier than I.  Mentally, I tuned out after James Harden was called for three fouls he didn’t commit in a span of 90 seconds.  I’m not crying conspiracy, but whatever it was that led to a total of 52 fouls and 60 free-throw attempts (42 of which were shot by the home team, who made an incredible...

Kobe delays Thunder's inevitable rise

After 16 seasons, you accept the proposition as a postulate: as Kobe Bryant goes, so do the Lakers. So there were moments that felt like a seismic shift, not just in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Lakers and the Thunder, but in The Game itself. The transition is inevitable. Even the most possessed of souls, even Kobe Bryant, must bow to time. Toward the...

Durant dunks on Hill : Westbrook and World Peace shuffle

Although the Los Angeles Lakers won game 3 99-96 Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant had the play of the night. Late in the 2nd quarter Kendrick Perkins set a pick for Durant and the three point line and Durant did the rest. Durant drove the middle of the lane and threw and dunk down on the Lakers Jordan Hill. Durant threw down a monster dunk with his right hand...

Thunder shows its determination

The Thunder could have looked at Saturday's 13-point deficit with eight minutes left and mentally checked out. A loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 wouldn't have been the end of the world. After all, Oklahoma City would have headed home with the series tied 2-2 knowing that it could advance without having to win a game at Staples Center. But the Thunder didn't...

Metta World Peace knees Russell Westbrook (Video)

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers stayed alive in their series with the Oklahoma City Thunder by winning game three by the score of 99-96 as the series shifted to the City of Angels. In the second quarter of the game, Lakers forward Metta World Peace had another incident with a Thunder player as he attempted to get a loose ball from OKC guard Russell Westbrook. Keep a...

Kevin Durant drops a hammer on the Los Angeles Lakers. Thunder win 103-100

LOS ANGELES –The Lakers bench players either shook their heads in disbelief, let their jaws drop or tried to bury themselves in the palms on their hands as the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant drained a fatal 3-point blow to seal Game 4. Snoop Dogg Showed Up To The Laker Game In This

Snoop Dogg himself showed up to the Los Angeles Lakers-Oklahoma City Thunder playoff game last night in this Rastafarian style hat and crazy sunglasses. Of course the sunglasses had a flip up cover with smiley faces on them (why wouldn’t they?). I’m sure he was just wearing them so you couldn’t see how red his eyes were. Anyways, the Lakers came back from a pretty hefty deficit...

Kobe sees positives in comeback loss heading into tonight, he said

Tonight's game at 10:30 ET / 7:30 PT against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder is a must-win for the Los Angeles Lakers. I don't like using cliche's I know I'll end up using again if LA does not actually win Game Three tonight, because I know I'll end up using that same cliche' again to describe what would then actually be a win or get swept Game Four for...
