If James Harden’s beard could talk, it would probably say, “NO DAYS OFF!”

On Monday, the Houston Rockets All-NBA guard dropped this great line about the idea of sitting out games down the stretch for rest like many of his fellow star players have been doing lately, per Mark Berman of KRIV.

Harden isn’t just blowing hot air either as he’s appeared in all 70 of Houston’s games so far this season and is seventh in the NBA with 36.5 minutes per game. Last season, he played in all 82 of the Rockets’ games (this time leading the league with 38.1 minutes a night) and has only missed a total of 14 games combined over his five years in Houston.

Resting stars has become a highly divisive issue in NBA circles recently, but Harden’s near-superhuman durability is another factor working in his favor as he continues to strengthen his case as a frontrunner for 2016-17 MVP honors.
