That NBA Lottery Pick:
It only took the second game of the 2013 NBA playoffs to possibly have the best “poster dunk” of these playoffs. As you might figure, Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee had something to do with it.
The play happened in the second quarter of game one between the Nuggets and the Warriors as McGee took a feed from Andre Igoudala and threw down a terribly nasty dunk on Andrew Bogut:
BEST OF MAXIM
Nuggets center JaVale McGee is sometimes known for the wrong reasons on the basketball floor. McGee is no stranger to making a boneheaded play at least once a game, but the athleticism and potential he possesses is endless. That potential is undoubtedly what earned him a very nice contract this past summer with the Nuggets, and it is a display of athleticism like this play that really...
JaVale McGee doing JaVale McGee things. JaVale McGee reminded folks that he isn’t here to mess around. McGee threw down this monstorous dunk during the end of the second quater. The best part is McGee’s reaction to the dunk, throwing Bogut to the ground.
Behind the 28 points from Andre Miller and the game-winning shot, the Nuggets pulled off the thrilling Game 1 win, 97-95.
Nuggets’ center JaVale McGee certainly isn’t one of the NBA’s most talented players, but he is without a doubt one if the league’s most athletic (and the dumbest, but that’s for another day). McGee put on an athletic display during Game 1 of the Nuggets/Warriors series. McGee caught a half court alley-oop from Andre Miller, grabbed a Carl Landry shot out of midair with...
Denver Nuggets center Javale McGee’s athletic ability is off the charts. The question has just always been whether or not he has it all together upstairs as well. This dunk against Andrew Bogut of the Warriors shows that when he does have it together, the finished product can spectacular.
The 2013 NBA playoffs are underway and already teams are giving us tasty highlights to enjoy.
Case in point, Nuggets' JaVale McGee.
Late in the second quarter, with Denver down in the scoreboard heading into halftime, McGee gave his team some momentum heading into the half with one filthy dunk right over Warriors' Andrew Bogut.
Check out JaVale sending the ball...
Stephen Curry did whatever that he could to help the Golden State Warriors steal Game One of their playoff series from the Denver Nuggets.
Playing on the Nuggets homecourt, Curry hit a dramatic game-tying three-pointer with just a few ticks left on the clock.
It was not enough to force overtime as the Nuggets relied on Andre Miller to drive into the paint and layup the game-winner...
McGee is starting to figure it out
Watch out Andrew Bogut! JaVale McGee is charging into the lane and he is looking to put you on a poster with this massive dunk.
Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee put Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut on a poster with this monster dunk.
When McGee head is on in the right place, can be a dominating player on both ends of the court. He takes Andrew Bogut’s cornbread (or was it his Chipotle) with this Dunk.

If you’re looking to check some of the younger and lesser known talent in the NBA, plus see some wire to wire FUN basketball action. You definitely should be checking out the Nuggets vs. Warriors. This series will be a lot of fun. The irony in that statement is that Saturday’s game was won by the old man on the court, Nuggets 37-year old veteran, Andre Miller. Miller has never...
JaVale McGee slashes through the lane, gets the pass and stuffs it on Andrew Bogut in the first half of Game 1 on Saturday.
Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried said Sunday that he will play in Game 2 of the Nuggets’ first-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors on Tueaday night. Faried sat out of the Nuggets’ 97-95 victory in Gmae 1 on Saturday with an ankle injury.
David Lee has waited eight seasons to be in the NBA playoffs. The last time he even watched a postseason game was in Chicago before the 2005 draft.
A lot of Lee's teammates can relate.
Andrew Bogut is the only Golden State Warriors starter who has ever been to the playoffs. Only five players on the current roster were even in the NBA the last time the franchise made the postseason...
