GET A CLUE
The fine folks over at the television game show “Jeopardy” over the years have used NBA players as part of clues but during a recent episode, one clue took a shot at Dwight Howard’s free throw shooting. In terms of the context for the clue, it was in a category called “Science in Sports” and it was worth $1,600: *** Jeopardy mocks Dwight Howard’s free throw shooting [Deadspin]
Just using common sense, it is highly unlikely that Howard will get another max deal after this one, let alone two. Doesn’t matter if he takes a four or five-year deal, this will be his last monster contract.
He has already peaked as a player, so the percentages say that he is only going to get worse as the years go on. For a long time he never got hurt, but lately his body has...

Atlanta is expected to have somewhere near $35 million in cap space available to it this summer. There is little expectation the Hawks will re-sign Josh Smith (more of a mutual split) and so the Hawks are moving forward and looking to make a splash this summer in free agency.
It is a poorly kept secret that Atlanta is going after the two biggest fish in the free agent sea: Dwight...

The loss of Golson is going to really hurt the Irish. I’m not a Rees hater, but we’re talking a significant drop off. I expect to see Golson back in the saddle next season for the Irish. They’ll make a bowl, but curb your expectations this season.
