The Utah Jazz took on the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night and Jeremy Evans had 10 seconds of perfection. During the second quarter Jeremy Evans swatted a shot by Ronny Turiaf by leaping quite high. He followed that up with a monster poster right on Ronny Turiaf’s head, and for good measure he then ran the length of the court to get back on defense and deflected a pass which would have been an easy two points for the Clippers. I’m not sure you could have drawn up a better 10 seconds of play.

In a preseason matchup between the Jazz and the Clippers, there was one of the best dunks of the young NBA season, and no, it wasn’t from Blake Griffin. Jeremy Evans has won the award for best play of the 2012 NBA Preseason and the preseason is only a week old. I’m not even going to entertain entries to compete with Mr. Evans of the Utah Jazz.
Tweet It’s only preseason, but this block and dunk combination pulled off by Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans on Clippers big man Ronny Turiaf might be the early hoops play of the year: That’s what you call a NBA-style facial. Evans demonstrated why he won last season’s dunk contest. -ALR
I know it's just the preseason but if the following video is any indication of how awesome the new season will be, then I say let's get it doing sooner than later.

First of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even in a game? Even if it’s only preseason. Second of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even shooting the ball? And third of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even jumping with Jeremy Evans?
If anyone can answer those three questions, please let us know.
The post Jeremy Evans shows why Ronny Turiaf shouldn’t even be playing preseason games first...
And Ronny Turiaf gets posterized in the process, busted up on twice in one play.
