Jeremy Lin has some flaws, but self-awareness is not among them. Lin, saying on Wednesday what you were already thinking, does not belong in the NBA All-Star game. "Uh, no," he told NBA.com. "Thats the furthest thing from my mind, to be honest, being on a five-game losing streak. I dont even care right now, Im just trying to get a win." Lin averages 12 points and six assists per game for the Houston Rockets, who are 21-19. He is the team's starter, but sometimes is benched in favor of Toney Douglas, particularly in fourth-quarter situations. Douglas averages eight points and two asissts in 20 minutes, but he's a better shooter than Lin, who is shooting just 28 percent from the 3-point line this season. As voting progressed towards closing, Lin was trailing Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul, but continued to see the gap close over recent weeks. Fan voting ended January 14th and rosters will be announced soon.
