Derrick Rose has not yet officially ruled out his return in the 2013 postseason, but Chicago Bulls fans have grown incredibly impatient. The team has done well in his absence, earning a respectable seed in the playoffs and knocking off the Brooklyn Nets in the first round. The Bulls also defeated the Miami Heat in Game 1 of their series on Monday night. But there are few who believe Chicago can win a title without Rose on the floor, which has led to radio stations encouraging fans to send angry messages to the star point guard. Joakim Noah wants that nonsense to stop. “Derrick’s a brother,” Noah said after his double-double against the Heat, via ESPNChicago.com. “And to see him go through this is tough, but at the end of the day it’s really funny how quick people are to judge. But people don’t know what it’s like to lead a team, especially after you tore your ACL. “If you tore your ACL and you have to be the starting point guard and have the expectations that Derrick has, then maybe...

Coach Thibodeau Amused People Think Derrick Rose Will Be in Uniform by Game 3

There was a report from Hoops World that Derrick Rose “might” be in uniform by Game 3 of the Heat vs. Bulls series. Not his standard suit and tie uniform, but his real basketball uniform. The report didn’t say if Rose would actually play, but just that he might wear his uniform. It was pretty vague, but Coach Thibodeau doesn’t want to get anyone hopes up. Thibodeau amused...

Miami Heat fan flips off Bulls’ Joakim Noah (Photo)

This Miami Heat fan gave the Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah just one thing after he was ejected for berating a ref — her middle finger. That’s one classy lady don’t you think? The refs ejected Noah’s teammate Taj Gibson as well.

The Derrick Rose Saga…One thing I know for sure

Guest Post By Alex Boris (@Bman86) Throughout this over the top suffocating coverage of Derrick Rose and his repaired ACL, comparisons have been made from Adrian Peterson to Greg Oden, to Bernard King, to Rob Gronkowski (yes seriously, because he came back too soon they’re saying!).  The immediate defenders of Rose are quick to recall how Chris Paul never was the same again ...

Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah ejected late in Game 2 (Video)

Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah were ejected from Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night after arguing calls. Gibson seemed to be upset that the referees missed two calls in a row in the fourth quarter, including what appeared to be a goaltend by Chris Andersen. The refs probably weren’t as concerned with small calls since...

Chris Bosh Tired Of Talking About Joakim Noah

Just one game into the Eastern Conference Semifinals with the Bulls leading 1-0, Chris Bosh is already tired of talking about his counterpart, Joakim Noah. According to the Chicago Tribune: If there was any doubt about the Bulls’ ability to get into the Heat’s heads after a surprising Game 1 triumph, Heat center Chris Bosh reinforced the idea Tuesday with his response to a simple...

Comments from the Other Side - Miami Heat Game 1 Bonus Edition 5/6

It's always fun to see the Miami bandwagon fans melt down after a loss.   It's so funny to see them complain about the officiating when they get the benefit of the calls 99.9% of the time.  In a game where the opponent took just 4 free throws more than them,  they are certain that the game was fixed.   They are used to getting all the calls and when a crew calls is...

Joakim Noah controlled this game down low, from start to finish, dominating Brook Lopez In the biggest game of their entire season, the Brooklyn Nets crapped the bed. Although they were taking on an injury-depleted Chicago Bulls team with no real reason to think they could win a Game 7 on the road, the Nets started the game flatter than they would if they were playing...

NBA Playoffs: Injuries and the Unpredictable

Nearly every NBA Playoffs brings an X factor. There is a moment, a play or a comment that holds the potential to either define or change the direction of circumstances. For some teams that factor can boost your chances or it can lead to your demise. For the Boston Celtics it was age.
