If there’s one downside of having microphones all over the court during basketball games, it’s that the cuss words from players are broadcast over the air. Denver Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton was burned by one of these mics when he was caught cussing out a fan at the end of the Clippers-Nuggets game on Christmas Tuesday.
“Shut the f— up, ***** a– n—er” Hamilton could be heard saying to a fan.
The words were audible enough to be heard on TV, and Hamilton was fined $25,000 by the NBA as a result. Our friend Anthony Ramsey heard it live and said it was the “Compton side” of Hamilton coming out.
I’m guessing the fine is enough to prevent Hamilton from doing something like that in the future.

Oh, Jordan Hamilton. How did the Nuggets 22-year-old celebrate Christmas during last night’s game against the Clippers?
Oh, just by telling a Clippers fan to “Shut the f*ck up, ***** ass *****.”
The Clippers won, 112-100.
Have you heard how bad I hate the NBA? That’s a BC tradition dating back to 2007. Someone wake me in mid-May.
