Timberwolves troll Heat with Harlem Shake video

I have to admit I laughed. This might be the most press the T-Wolves get all year, but I find it funny. The Miami Heat without a shadow of the doubt the Evil Empire of the NBA, that is what makes them so compelling. You know all the teams hate them, but can’t do anything to stop them besides doing Spoof Harlem Shake videos. They should have edited in some JJ Barea and Ray Allen...

LeBron sends out a 'Save the Date'

LeBron James and longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson have finally announced a wedding date by sending out "Save the Weekend" announcements.

Bosh videobombs Wade, does the Robot

Chris Bosh is at it again. After the Miami Heat’s franchise record 15th win in a row against the Timberwolves, Bosh interrupted Dwyane Wade’s post game interview with Jason Jackson by doing the robot. Normally he sneaks up from behind, so this full frontal assault is an escalation in behavior. I guess its easy to have fun when you are winning, even if you only dropped 11 and...

Wade makes Minnesota fans dream come true

Two years ago at a school book fair, Tess Mountain got her first Dwyane Wade poster. She'd been a football fan up to that point, but suddenly, Wade was her guy, and basketball was her sport. After doing some Internet research over the winter, Tess learned that Wade had written a book, A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball, and she asked for it for Christmas...

LeBron James and Savannah Brinson Must be Fine; Wedding Date Set

Either this is the epic cover-up to be all dating disaster cover-ups or the relationship between Savannah Brinson and LeBron James is just fine. The two have now set a date for the wedding--the weekend of September 13-15 according to the save the date cars the couple recently sent out. So apparently all the rumors about a possible split were just that--rumors. There...

LeBron James & Savannah Brinson’s “save-the-date” wedding invitations

A day after Savannah revealed the wedding to LeBron James is still on despite rumors, more info about the upcoming nuptials was leaked.  A save the date was sent out for the destination wedding which takes place the weekend of September 13th – 15th  in sunny San Diego, Ca.     For the naysayers who still had doubt, there’s your proof. San Diego has amazing oceanside resorts...

Timberwolves Make Their Own Harlem Shake Video

Nice re-buttle to the Miami Heat's Harlem Shake video. I wasn't going to post this video because I hate fads but I also have the obligation to be fair to every NBA team. If I post for one team, I have to post for all of them. So this is my apology for all the Harlem Shake videos that may surface in the future. But don't be mad at me, be mad at the teams who make them...

Heat barely escape Magic, win 16th straight

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James scored 26 points, including a go-ahead layup with 3.2 seconds left, and the Miami Heat scrambled late to beat the Orlando Magic 97-96 on Wednesday night and extend their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games. Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and Chris Bosh added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat, who blew a 20-point, second-half lead and then rallied...

Lebron James’ Sons Rock Kid n Play Haircuts (Photo)

As an 80’s baby I would’ve never pegged the 90’s as a decade that would be known for fashion with the cross colors, hammer pants, and high top fades that were in style back then. Boy was I wrong. All of these trends have come back with a vengeance. At 28 Lebron James is old enough (although barely) to remember the 90′s hip hop group Kid n Play known for their House Party...

Miami Heat or the Field

There is a significant contrast that surfaces around this time every year between the NBA and college hoops. To be summed up squarely, the field of championship contenders is much more narrow and refined in the NBA. While the NCAA offers a field of 68 that features three weeks worth of one-and-done games, the NBA playoffs serves us home court advantage in increments of five and seven...

Timberwolves mock Miami Heat’s Harlem Shake video

With everyone – myself included – hyping up the Heat’s “Harlem Shake” video, the Minnesota Timberwolves decided to do their own version of it capitalizing off the buzz that the Miami Heat got for theirs. But this isn’t what you were expecting. Check out the this video the Timberwolves showed during Monday night’s match up against the Heat.   Considering the altercation...

Heat Fan responds to Timberwolves making fun of Heat’s Harlem Shake

The Minnesota Timberwolves created a hysterical video making fun of the Miami Heat’s Harlem Shake video, but unfortunately for them, a Heat fan came back and went at them hard.  After the Timberwolves said that the Harlem Shake videos were getting old, the Heat fan took it to another level and said that being in the draft lottery was getting old fast.  Nothing like going right...

Magic-Heat Preview

While their winning streak has reached franchise-record status, the Miami Heat remain focused on the next challenge and not their latest accomplishment. The Heat can extend their run to 16 games with a 12th consecutive home victory Wednesday night against the lowly Orlando Magic. Dwyane Wade had 32 points with 10 assists while LeBron James shook off a sore left knee for 20 and...

76ers-Heat Preview

The Miami Heat's winning streak continues to grow. While the team insists they're focused on the bigger picture, a home matchup with the struggling Philadelphia 76ers seems to pose little threat to the team's red-hot run. Miami can win its 17th straight game, matching the 12th-longest streak in NBA history and the league's best this season, with a victory over the...

Michael Wilbon defends Magic Johnson, calls out Adrian Wojnarowski

As the LeBron James dunkpocalypse rolled into its second week of coverage, Magic Johnson and his ludicrous $1 million offer to get LBJ in 2014's Slam Dunk Contest takes center stage.  Yes, it's insane to be talking about an exhibition contest 11 and a half months away, but thanks to Magic and ESPN here we are. Monday brought another weird turn as LeBron's dunk contest...
